In the wake winning a Best Actor Oscar back in 1996 for his turn as an alcoholic in  Leaving Las Vegas, Cage’s box office marquee valued boomed with Face Off and several Jerry Bruckheimer productions such as  Gone in 60 Seconds, The Rock, Con Air,  and the franchise before churning a slew of independent shoot ’em up movies. But with  Pig, the Coppola scion is receiving some of the best reviews of his career, once again, as a gourmet chef, well past his heyday, who ventures back to the city where he made his reputation, Portland, to find the truffle pig that was stolen from him. The NEON film is 97% certified fresh on Rotten Tomatoes and has scored several accolades including National Board of Review Top Independent Film and Best Directorial debut by Michael Sarnoski, two Spirit noms for the Someone to Watch Award and Best First Screenplay by Sarnoski and Vaness Block as well as a DGA First Time Feature film nod for Sarnoski.
