The charity was set up to help 20-year-old Laura Nuttal from Lancashire - who has glioblastoma multiforme, an aggressive brain cancer.Despite being a reclusive family man for the last four years, the 48-year-old still made incredible earnings.What were his earnings? This means it works out to a weekly salary of almost £89,000.Good Night Vienna Productions files showed £24.8 million in 2020, which is around £1million more than the previous year.Has he made appearances? The iconic comedian rarely made any public appearances after stepping out from the limelight.
However, any appearances he did make were mostly for charity.In April 2018, Peter hosted a charity screening of Car Share in Blackpool and was snapped on a tram ride in the same town a year later.He also made an appearance in April 2020 on Big Night In.
Peter went on the show to introduce a new version of his charity single “Amarillo”, remade with doctors, nurses and firefighters.“I asked a lot of you to film yourselves and send it in,” Peter said and asked viewers to donate money to Comic Relief and Children in Need.

However, he issued a statement on his Twitter account in December 2017 apologising for cancelled the tour."Due to unforeseen family circumstances, I deeply regret that I am having to cancel all of my upcoming work projects," he stated."This, unfortunately, includes my upcoming stand-up tour, Dance for Life shows and any outstanding live work commitments.
"My sincerest apologies. This decision has not been taken lightly and I’m sure you’ll understand my family must always come first."I’ve always endeavoured to protect my family’s privacy from the media. I hope that the media and the public will continue to respect our privacy at this time. Once again, I’m very sorry."
