Perspective: After President Biden ordered the Justice Department to stop using private prisons, the U.S. Marshals Service continued to do so by using a middleman.

The result was “essentially no change in the USMS’s reliance on the facility, yet increased costs by as much as $500,000 per month,” according to anreleased last week, “or $6 million per year and decreased the control the USMS had for ensuring the safe and humane treatment of those in USMS custody.”

that found “in most key areas, contract prisons incurred more safety and security incidents per capita than comparable” federal institutions.Biden’s directive put the Marshals Service in a jam. It was issued just 30 days before the expiry of the contract with the Northeast Ohio Correctional Center, which held 541 Marshals Service inmates. The White House Counsel’s Office approved a 90-day contract extension, but not the additional two years the Marshals Service wanted.

“While we have no reason to doubt such approval, we found no documentation of the approval in the materials provided to us,” the report said, “and we were told that no such documentation existed.”

Why does Joe always look like that grumpy puppet Walter?

Really looks like a criminal act be some person in the Justice Dept!

Potus Trump gave Parnell head of Private Prisons because he committed a crime against America 🇺🇸 and love it!

Andrew Tate's imprisonment for alleged sexism while Bill Clinton,Bill Gates and Kevin Spacey remain free despite their ties to Jeffrey Epstein reveals the hypocrisy of cancel culture. Let's demand accountability and justice for all, not just those deemed expendable JusticeForAll

Private prison operators are the lowest form of life on the planet.

We never use to see our law enforcement outright going against our laws like THUGS until the biggest thug of them all Trump did it without consequences. We need to do a major overhaul of our law enforcement get all the THUGS out.

Ahhhemmm.... California cancelled private prisons, and has been sued by the DOJPH, 'because federal prisons are private and you can't tell us what to do'

Law enforcement is way too comfortable skirting the law these days.

Does anyone know why far-left insurrectionists at the TennesseeCapitol were holding up 7 fingers when the TransSupremacist killer targeted then shot and killed only 6 Christians. Anyone know?

Some folks need to be fired.
