Not really surprising. People who understand how to evaluate risk/reward of the vax can evaluate risk/reward for other activities, too. So things like falls, vehicle accidents, and drug overdoses are less likely in the group with good judgment.
It's magical. No sampling bias like the possibility that the people who rushed out for the vaccines and wear the masks in their own homes and other assorted lunacy are the same kind who live long by not really living at all.
These folks are likely more risk averse and just more careful in general.
