Defense Sec. Austin says the al-Qaida extremist group that used Afghanistan as a staging base to attack the U.S. 20 years ago may attempt to regenerate there following an American withdrawal that has left the Taliban in power.

Among those who hold the new top leadership roles are two Haqqani leaders with $5 million bounties on their heads -- and no women.KUWAIT CITY -- U.S.

“We put the Taliban on notice that we expect them to not allow that to happen," Austin said, referring to the possibility of al-Qaida using Afghanistan as a staging base in the future. Austin and Secretary of State Antony Blinken appeared together in Qatar on Tuesday in a show of U.S. gratitude for that Gulf state's help with the transit of tens of thousands of Afghans and others evacuated from Kabul. Blinken also visited an evacuee transit site in Germany, and Austin visited Bahrain and Kuwait.’s decision to end the U.S. war in Afghanistan in order to focus more on other security challenges like China and Russia does not foretell an abandonment of U.S.

Austin indicated that his visit was postponed at the Saudis' request. “The Saudis have some scheduling issues; I can't speak to exactly what they were,” he said.

dont think the toxic trump deal was any good at all, in fact it may be the worst deal ever........

So what happened to the deal U made with the TB

Withdrawal = Defeat

Fear monger hard at work now that there is one less war to make money on.

When we have a President, that can barely talk, walk, answer any questions, and keeps referring to the news people, he was told , he can’t do this or that. Makes you wonder, who’s really President. Open borders alone, will bury 100,000 innocent Americans this year.

'may attempt' (emphasis added)
