While a far cry from the record 32 deaths reported Thursday, Friday's seven additional fatalities demonstrate that the coronavirus is continuing to take a toll even as officials weigh reopening some schools for in-person instruction.

Now do a breakdown & compare the numbers with LA County. LA 3x's the population & has 9x's the deaths even though OC has a higher Pop Density.

OC experiences 21,000 deaths every year. And the deaths from coronavirus are 90% from people who would have died from the flu. It’s terrible, but the average age of death for coronavirus, is higher then the national average age of death from all causes.

So nearly 1 in 10 California deaths are in Orange County? ...not surprised.
