Opinion: The coronavirus is no excuse to ignore gun violence in D.C.

In fact, the projected revenue lost in fiscal 2021 between pre-coronavirus estimates and current estimates is , according to the budget that D.C. Mayor Muriel E. Bowser announced last Monday. And while we all recognize that Bowser had to make some hard decisions, the dramatic reductions to evidence-based violence-interruption programs are unconscionable.
