'If only the NFL had Kaepernick now, to harness his peaceful message, his grace, his power; to proudly share him with the sports world and American communities at this terrible time,' says usatodaysports columnist cbrennansports

It was #BlackoutTuesday and NFL teams were determined not to miss it. The New Orleans Saints, New York Jets, Chicago Bears and San Francisco 49ers were among the teams tweeting the stark black screen with the symbolic hashtag attached. The 49ers turned their Twitter avatar black. They and the Saints even added the phrase “Black Lives Matter.”

“To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder.” These so-called leaders were repulsed by Kaepernick because he kneeled on the sideline in peaceful protest during the national anthem. They chose to follow the lead of Donald Trump, who called Kaepernick “a son of a bitch,” rather than listen to the advice and counsel of their own players and community leaders.

cbrennansports usatodaysports This is what you get when you have twats writing about sports

cbrennansports usatodaysports cbrennansports Roger Goodall has been symbolically holding his knee on the neck of Colin Kaepernick. Taking the knee was always about social justice and making policing more accountable. Times up for Roger Goodall. He needs to resign.

usatodaysports cbrennansports If the NFL kneels again i hope the rest of Americans stop watching the NFL Kaepernick is a disrespectful POS.

usatodaysports cbrennansports This man should be Sports Illustrated’s Man of the year!!!!!

usatodaysports cbrennansports Wearing pig socks and praising Castro is not graceful. The man refuses to vote. How many black men & women marched, were beaten, & worse to secure the right to vote? He complains about the system but doesn’t use the most powerful tool we have as citizens. He’s no role model.

usatodaysports cbrennansports He flat out sucks. Has no appreciation for the country he lives in. Let him go live in another country and do what he did.

usatodaysports cbrennansports Why isn’t he at one of the protests espousing peace?

usatodaysports cbrennansports He doesn’t belong in this country let alone in the NFL.

usatodaysports cbrennansports Yes Kaepernick is such a hero...

TSNDaveNaylor usatodaysports cbrennansports His 'grace'? Seriously? He has every right to be who he wants and protest as he did. I have every right to remember how he labelled every cop regardless of good or bad.

usatodaysports cbrennansports Kaepernick is a white people hating racist.

usatodaysports cbrennansports We don’t need Kaepernick, he insulted the military, law enforcement, fire fighters & first responders. That wasn’t necessary.

usatodaysports cbrennansports Opinion piece once again.

usatodaysports cbrennansports Too bad he turned to his ISIS handlers. That, and he’s a gawd awful QB.

usatodaysports cbrennansports Do the pig socks play into his grace. This is ridiculous statement. One poorly worded remark and someone is garnered a racist for life. He is turned into ghandi by the media.

usatodaysports cbrennansports Hahaha

usatodaysports cbrennansports I hope I never see him play again in the NFL

usatodaysports cbrennansports DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON FAKE WEBSITES. HERE I'M MAKING $8,500 IN JUST 3DAYS WITHOUT SENDING MONEY TO ANYONE. JUST TYPE INFO AND Country Name And i send you all info No Scam WhatsApp:+12502441742 Dm me for business earn with ease thanks. Only serious minded only !!!!!

usatodaysports cbrennansports Another display of leftwing insanity. Kaepernick is an America-hating primitive who is inflaming racial problems. But, since this country is in the grip of insanity, a guy who wears T-Shirt with Fidel Castro is celebrated.

usatodaysports cbrennansports LMAO you, fool

usatodaysports cbrennansports You guys make me sick. Man that has used the black card to his advantage. Bad quarterback and bad guy. So tired of the victim hood of blacks.

usatodaysports cbrennansports Instead they blindly and stupidly followed trump. They don’t deserve Kaepernick7....he’s proven he’s too good for them. NFL

usatodaysports cbrennansports And again, I believe you stand for the National Anthem.

usatodaysports cbrennansports You have to be kidding!

usatodaysports cbrennansports This guy did nothing but seek attention. How was it injustice when he chooses to walk out of a job!! He’s another attention seeker but no action. Don’t see him in Chicago protesting blacks killing black or BLM movement.

usatodaysports cbrennansports The people support Colin Kapepernick

usatodaysports cbrennansports After all that's transpired over the past week, people really had a problem with CK kneeling for a song.

usatodaysports cbrennansports Wore pig police socks

usatodaysports cbrennansports He feels so sadly

usatodaysports cbrennansports Nope , old news

usatodaysports cbrennansports All of you black boot licking coons in the NFL that allowed our brother to be publicly lynched in front of you should fill nothing but shame when you go to the bank savings of blood 🩸 money with no pride.

usatodaysports cbrennansports Kaepernick is doing just fine the way he is. Trump should have apologized to him. NFL should have hired him. But now? Kaepernick couldn't if he wanted to. How would that look to people? As if this was all he needed to get back in the game. No, he can't and best? He won't. Classy.

usatodaysports cbrennansports No thank you.

usatodaysports cbrennansports Nice try.

usatodaysports cbrennansports This is the other side of racism when a man is blackballed from the NFL For exercising his constitutional right to peacefully protest against racism but he has shown nothing but racism and called a son of a bitch by a weak ass president

usatodaysports cbrennansports Says no one

usatodaysports cbrennansports He still can’t read defenses 😂😂😂

usatodaysports cbrennansports What a joke!

usatodaysports cbrennansports Yes, but the downside would be he would actually have to play.

usatodaysports cbrennansports Usually people have to pass on before they get their personal histories this vigorously re-written. Before we're done, Kap will have cured cancer.

Why Posting Black Boxes for #BlackoutTuesday, or Hashtags Without Action, Is Useless (Column)By the time the Washington Redskins posted a black square to stand against racism — yes, the Washington Redskins — BlackoutTuesday was well and truly done for. Hours before, a barrage of black squ… Social Media in itself is useless except for the Kardashian/Jenner family Even though that's what most celebrities have done to avoid being asked why they haven't and being attacked by the mob. Enforced virtue signalling. So many people aren't even including BlackLivesMatter or details on how to help protesters and donate, just the black squares. Completely pointless.
