Survivors of previous infection with the virus that causes COVID-19, known as SARS-CoV-2, may be at higher risk for re-infection with the Omicron variant than with earlier versions of the virus, according to preliminary findings. In South Africa, where Omicron was first reported, researchers reviewed data on nearly 2.

A booster shot of the Pfizer/BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine appears to provide strong protection, at least in the short term, according to data from Israel. The odds of testing positive for the coronavirus were much lower in adults who received a third dose of the vaccine than in people who got their second dose more than five months ago, the data showed.

From the patients who were hospitalized from this variant, or displayed more serious illnes than others. How many of the infected were obese? Covid seems to affect 'FAT' nations more with populations that have a BMI over 30. And, people with diabetes.

The drug companies will only be too happy in promoting that!
