Omicron, and its growing number of subvariants, has proved to be far more infectious than earlier strains. The rise in fatalities is thought to be linked to vaccine protection waning over time, making it harder for those patients who are most at risk to avoid contracting the disease. “A pandemic of — and by — the unvaccinated is not correct. People still need to take care in terms of prevention and action if they became symptomatic.”

This pandemic won't probably end for quite some time because of this. Even more infuriating is that THIS PANDEMIC WAS COMPLETELY PREVENTABLE AND IT SHOULD HAVE NEVER HAPPENED IN THE FIRST PLACE. I will say this and I will say it again: STOP TRAFFICKING WILD ANIMALS FOR FOOD.

Now can you imagine the results had everyone just got the vaccine instead of whining about a jab?
