The weekly number of COVID-19 cases in Ohio dropped for the second week in a row, from 21,731 last week to 20,552 cases this week.

A total of 7,458,600 Ohioans have received at least one vaccination, representing about 67.4% of Ohioans age 5 and up.

Since the beginning of 2021, there have been 24,693 deaths among people reported as unvaccinated, and 1,361 among people reported to be fully vaccinated. And there have been 76,300 hospitalized Ohioans who were not fully vaccinated, and 5,598 fully vaccinated people hospitalized.* Total reported cases: 3,117,109, up 20,552.Sept. 8 recap* Total reported ICU admissions: 14,131, up 37.
