They stand together ALL cops

More Portland BS. Just like Seattle where there is lawlessness and no one is ever held accountable for anything.

Blue backing all the Blue is actually a big part of the problem is America PressHerald Police need to hold each other to the highest standard!

POTUS Florida now in Texas, They we’re all BLM.

Leadership in this town have failed so many. Portland has turned into a complete shi hole.

That's good news. Don't hire them back.

Welcome the America under liberal Democrats

Right solution for the wrong reasons. Byyyyyyyyyyye

Fawk’em

The marrow reveals the disease.

*shrugs

Good

Nothing triggers cops more than a whiff of possible accountability

Prosecute them all.

Good … if you are unwilling to accept enforceable standards and accountability you are not a profession anyway but just a rogue gang of armed men … and hence definitely don’t deserve a salary and benefits paid for by our tax dollars.

This headline is misleading. They are still police, they only resigned from the response unit.

Good.

Excellent. Hire college grads with humanities degrees and pay double salary.

Were these the ones who I saw trapping and beating innocent protesters, random reporters and luckless pedestrians? Oh, what a shame. Such a loss. Are they all going to jail, or what?

Excellent! This is the free market at work. Policies and standards are changing, rooting out people who are unable to abide by those policies and standards, which will hopefully bring in a better group of individuals who can.

Take the employer portion of their pensions and give them their return of contributions.

We’re supposed to care? It’s cute how they didn’t resign from the job of policing. Guess they don’t really care about the other guy that much, eh? Pensions worth more than taking too serious of a stand 😂😂

I don't blame them, I'd quit too. Let those anarchists rule themselves, or they can get the bloods & crips to police them. See how well that works out.

I like the part where he says they didn’t volunteer to have things thrown at them - ummm- you’re volunteering for the riot squad. Also: love how they hate being held accountable.

Might want to scrutinize their history then. If they’re that adamantly against accountability then they obviously have some shit to hide. Suspend them without pay while an investigation is run!

They uh, could just stop doing crimes?

gravemorgan

You get what you vote for, these officers should resign, move somewhere they'll be supported, the left is winning this insurrection, congrats.

Whatever shall we do

So sad....

❄️❄️❄️❄️

Good riddance. Are we supposed to be upset when crooked cops resign? Protect and serve, not bash and maim.

The only thing that would be better is if they ALL left.

Bad apples falling from the tree.

TheUnion Don’t let the door hit you on the way out…..

Good. So now we know they were all shitty.

Now fire them from the force.

Where they go one they go all….

Viral video shows Maryland police use Taser on teen to enforce vaping banMaryland police defend officers' actions after viral videos showed them kneeing and deploying Tasers on Black teenagers to enforce a vaping ban on Ocean City's Boardwalk. 'vaping is not an arrestable offence.' But the dudes were Black. Ok. They were using tasers not guns on non compliant people. There’s a time for outrage and a time to reel it in. Just because you’re a certain color it doesn’t give you carte blanc to disobey the law. Save your outrage for appropriate times Sometimes the cops are wrong, sometimes they’re not. You can’t excuse unlawful or unruly behavior on either side. If the kids were doing wrong, they need to be respectful and comply. Beligerence will only make matters worse. I know, I’ve been on the wrong end of a bully club
