A 75-year-old resident of an assisted living facility in Summit County was found dead in the snow on Tuesday.

Peggy Jirousek, 75 was a resident at Renaissance of Richfield/Bath when she was found dead lying in the snow outside of the facility on Tuesday.

The medical examiner had not ruled on the cause of death by Friday, but Guenther said Jirousek likely died of hypothermia.The nursing home directed questions to an outside security firm, SACS Consulting and Investigative Service.“Our deepest sympathies go out to the family and loved ones after this tragic incident,” a spokesman for the security firm said in a statement.
