RIP🤍 Reading these tweets it seems everyone is in agreement we need more mental health care for these homeless individuals, but where would this care be administered? It does not seem rational to provide it at their encampments, so at a facility Could we all agree to that? LA district attorney will let him out of jail citing he had a tragic upbringing and because he's a transient, society should feel sorry for him, nt punish him. This is happening all over 'Blue States' and its getting worse! I live in Orange County and don't feel safe!
🙏 We gonna turn up the hate against the homeless, now? What, exactly, is the hope for this article? 'People been getting mighty cozy with the idea of maybe benefiting the poor. Better up the fear factor before any good comes of that.' MayorOfLA these crimes are due to your failed policies. 😡 And L.A. DA George Gascon doesn't give a damn about this, in fact he'll probably let him go with a slap on the wrist and give the assailant an award of somekind... What an outright disgrace he is!
If you know someone who takes public transportation GIFT them a SAFETY KEYCHAIN from , super affordable starting at $25 with a pepperspray and taser. Gift one to your mom, sister, cousin, wife.. they’ll appreciate it more than you think Prayers to nurse 🙏🏽❤️🙏🏽 This is disheartening, imagine how hard she was working due to covid and this....
Talk Radio Icon, Los Angeles Legend Michael Jackson Dies At 87'Talk Radio Titan' Michael Jackson died at the age of 87 at his California residence on Saturday. He is best known for his decades-long span with KABC. I loved it when he did the moonwalk I was interviewed by him as a child (mid-80’s) when he asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I confidently answered “a mermaid”
Gascon’s LA. American homeless never trust them And george Gascon won’t prosecute any criminals Every person living on skid row needs to be arrested and taken to a secure drug treatment or mental health facility or refusing that—to jail. We only get the kind of government we have as we are responsible for electing them to office. Most of our leaders are good in making promises to get elected. once in office they they ignore lawlessness .Sadly they don’t know how to do their job. Tents, Rvs all over untouchables.
Come on man why a nurse? Why do people attack nurses and EMTs and firefighters? Could you imagine if there was no way to keep someone alive on the way to an ER that’s been critically injured in a MV collision? If I were crazy & homeless the only act of humanity I would appreciate is for to take me to a mental institution & not allow me to humiliate myself peeing in public, full of insects and being half dressed. Same for drug addicts. Living outside disobeying every law is not a right.
That’s what happens when you defund transit police. Prayers for her family. LA has lost the plot. Before you know it, Los Angeles, will be like the movie, escape from LA. It’s half way there. Media will continue to post stories which continue to demonize homelessness as the cost of living and health become more challenging and impossible for low income Americans.
JoshMankiewicz I have commented on this story in a couple of Tweets. Beyond sad and heartbreaking. We all need to take a hard look in the mirror and demand that our political leaders address this out of control problem with mental illness - especially among the homeless. This is unacceptable
Los Angeles train thefts: Union Pacific urges DA Gascon to 'reconsider' directive dismissing misdemeanorsRailroad company Union Pacific (UP) is urging Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascon to 'reconsider' his directive that specifies 13 specific misdemeanor charges that will be dismissed with certain exceptions. Looks like Fikile Mbalula is your Minister aswell. That's amazing journey with you 💝 I just received this on my bitcoin.com wallet thanks Mr Hendricksnino77 for his profits don't doubt his words this guy is gentlemen and God 🙏 sent 🇿🇦🇿🇦 interested persons 👉Connect with him directly on WhatsApp
Mental health care is severely lacking for US citizens in poverty. This terrible INDIVIDUAL act does not speak for all homeless people. We need better mental health resources, not more neglect/abuse. These are the real consequences to us not efficiently caring about homelessness. As long as the politicians are bribed & bullied by the 'homeless advocates ' nothing will change. The politicians need to grow some balls & take action to protect the population. We can't have a good life with the thugs on one side & vagrants on the other.
So so sad…I’m so sick of the homeless issues & the robbing & killing going on in our city. It’s definitely time for change! The homeless guy who pushed a guy onto an oncoming train in SD and now this in LA. Done. Round up the homeless and help them in a centralized location. You can't help them when they are all over and stop giving them all these extra rights. Law and order!
Los Angeles is a lost cause. Crime like this because morale are low and consequences lacking . Need to do better for common good Mayor Garcetti do something about these crazy homeless who are putting civilians in danger. Get more cops back! MayorOfLA LACity KTLA Very tragic. Sincere condolences to her family. 😢☹️
Los Angeles County reports 66 COVID-19 deaths, highest daily total since April Los Angeles County reported 66 deaths associated with the coronavirus Saturday -- the most COVID-related fatalities reported in one day since April 2 of last year. How many of the 66 have on their death certificate, Cause of death: Covid 19. Did they die with covid or from covid?
And people still want to defund the police, well enjoy. And where is the homeless person, free back on the streets. Good job Gavin oldsome This is tragic ALforLA2022 That poor nurse and her family did not deserve this? Too bad there won't be any justice for her while Gascon's in office. 🙁 JFC Wonder if murder is enough for loser Gascon to bring charges. LADAistheworst
We read and see these horrific crimes everyday here but we the sheeple are always told it's within the normals stats. This world is dying by killing itself. Renew the Sherrif contract for transit in LA. This effort to have social workers working transit is ridiculous. They are either absent or ineffective.
Let’s see if ANY of LA’s politicians comment or ensure this crime is effectively prosecuted. They were very vocal when the police sadly hit an innocent bystander while trying to protect store customers from a violent criminal, including the worst of LA’s politicians mikebonin
Covid-19 Deaths in Los Angeles County Pass 28,000The public health office said the jump in hospitalizations and “the extraordinarily high number of new cases reflects worrisome rates of community transmission.” It's the same situation in every hospital around the world someone goes in with an unrelated but serious issue gets covid from the air that they don't manage very well and unfortunately dies. Air flow should be released from each room to outside not into corridors. 🙏🏾 all around! Lol “linked”
Newsome what say you? So preventable! Get these people off our streets! 💔 When are politicians going to stop fearing looking like they're inhumane and afraid of losing votes instead of cracking down on aggressive homeless people? Doesn't surprise me at all Wait - I thought it was at Union Station (didn't read this article btw)
Heartbreaking & infuriating Name of ‘the man’? LACMTA does nothing for Public Safety! We just lost someone who saved our loved ones during this Corona Pandemic! LACOUNTYSUPERVISOR DO SOMETHING PLS! California government sucks at protecting its legal, tax paying citizens. Texas is open my friends.
Thieves raiding rail cargo containers in Los AngelesUnion Pacific says it is concerned about the cargo thefts and has increased patrols and utilized additional technologies to combat them. Can’t believe this is America. Some group is making money doing the raiding of containers
Detain the homeless! Letting them out on the streets is a false act of humanity and put in danger others. I'm surprised to see videos of Downtown LA where pedestrians don't carry anything that can be used in their defense. They could carry a tennis racquet, pvc pipe, flashlight. Current social and political environment is toxic . . . or in this specific case, deadly.
Sending prayers up for family so so sad. Newsom's California. kymdouglas Absolutely HORRIFIC Rip Sandra 😪🙏💗 This is so so sad WTH!! Unbelievable! How’s the new DA, and the lawlessness, looking now? Obama said it best: “Elections have consequences.” GeorgeGascon will let him out in a few days. Wonder how he would feel if that was his wife. 🤦♂️
😢 😡💔 Oh my gosh, this just breaks my heart for her and now more so for her family.this is what our so called DA has done.he should be put where this happened lets see how he likes being treating cruely.its time toclean that area up.
Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli’s Los Angeles-area home burglarizedLori Loughlin and husband Mossimo Giannulli’s home was burglarized in early January, a spokesperson for the couple confirmed to TODAY. Couldn’t happen to nicer people And why should I be upset that privilege people like them got burglarized? The burglar was probably just looking for evidence that Olivia Jade was a competitive rower.
So if a wacko attacks and kills me, he’ll be sent to his version of a Sandals resort. But if I decide to carry a weapon for protection and I shoot/kill the wacko, I’ll be prosecuted for murder? Hard working citizens need to start fighting back! 😕 I do not know, but I know….. bet the murderer is part of the homeless community.
Time to bring back asylums Mental Health asylums need to return NOW! 👀💀 So sad. So let me get this straight.... Homeless man murders a nurse and now we're giving the homeless murderer a permanent home, clothing & food? 🤬😡 Brittany This is so sickening and didn’t have to happen.😡😡😡
I’m sure Gascon will throw the book… LMAOOOOO OMG!!!!!!!! R.I.P 💔😭🙏🏼 Y’all this shit needs to stop. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

More News Videos Police are investigating an assault on a woman waiting at a bus stop in downtown Los Angeles Thursday morning by someone authorities are calling a transient. A man in his 40s was taken into custody and booked for attempted murder after the assault, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. A concerned mother who was waiting for the bus with her daughter at the time of the incident told ABC7 that safety is what she worries about when she's at the bus stop waiting to catch a bus. "My concerns is safety issues. A lot of homeless people are out here harassing the patrons waiting for the bus. It's unsafe. They're down here trying to rob us, rape us, anything they can do, they're yelling at us, it's a lot of mental health. And I think that law enforcement needs to come out and kind of, address these issues, to make the city more safe" said Braneka Wilson. L.A. County Supervisor Hilda Solis released a statement that reads in part: "As a frontline essential worker, she helped save countless lives throughout the pandemic and it is a heartbreaking loss to lose a hero. As Chair of the Metro Board of Directors, I will continue to push for an enhanced safety plan for riders and staff so we can prevent tragic incidents like this from happening again. I send my condolences to her family and the entire LAC+USC Medical Center community."
