On the one side you've got the people who have legal control over all the necessary resources to live, and on the other, people who can only withhold their labor. The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. Great except this is accelerating inflation - if companies pay their ee’s more they have to raise prices to cover the add’l cost (they aren’t going to choose to make less $). People think they are wealthier but they are actually poorer bc everything costs more.
