Today’s tip for 2022: To use less plastic, you have to know what you’re currently consuming. Do an audit of the plastic in your home — there’s probably a lot in the kitchen and bathroom — and then use that info to build your game plan.

Hey, Costco! You could pack your eggs in paper cartons.

Aren't people recycling plastics? We recycle all of ours.

Why do so many liberals who wax on and on about climate change always use plastic starbucks cups?

My game plan is to push for systemic change over personal responsibility, thanks

You really do.

Its worth noting that sometimes plastic products are better for the environment than their replacements. Be sure to check to make certain said replacements don't have greater carbon emissions than the plastic items do.

Today's fact for 2022: 20 companies are responsible for 55% of single-use plastic waste

Or how about we hold big company’s accountable and not the people who where essentially forced to live in a word were we have to use plastic.

Why should we have a game plan when these manufacturers give us no alternatives after they lied through their teeth for decades about recyclability?

It would help a lot if we forced manufacturers to 1. Provide alternatives to plastic. Glass milk bottles, please, and 2. Force manufacturers to budget for plastic cleanup. The individual consumer can barely move the needle on plastic even if everyone in America reduced.

It doesn't matter in the slightest.

brought to you by the same ilk that switched grocery stores from paper bags, a renewable resource to plastic bags which pollute the planet- YES= the LEFT did that because they cried about 'deforestation'

NPR Cookie Consent and Choicesdamn follows all the other media outlets in reporting the same events. This is an indication that corporate media is not investigating the truth on behalf of readers and viewers. Instead, NPR is becoming an entertainment mill filled with inanity and political advocacy. Wow. I just saw that video on TikTok and thought it was computer generated graphics, so I swiped past.
