A black woman abused in Wisconsin? Expect the worst from those judges, jury, and people. Her only defense could be if the victim was black, had a skateboard, or was protesting against police brutality. Maybe then, and just maybe she could have a chance.

I'd like to know more details of this case. I don't see why she can't argue in front of the jury that it was self-defense and let them decide.

The two cases are different. It sounds like the guy she killed had it coming but self defense probably doesn't apply because she wasn't in immediate danger. However, battered women's syndrome may be a factor and may amount to some type of self defense.
Being sexually abused and trafficked is a hell of a lot more life threatening than an unarmed man running at you when you are holding an AR-15.
With Kizer and Rittenhouse cases, misogyny and racism are about to be thrown into stark relief. The prosecution will also successfully obfuscate -- rape as sex and not as an act of violence -- because our society so consistently falls for that.
