Drug addiction, mental illness, poverty, issues that go against the grain of what society dictates becomes our fault, misery loneliness, demise. And we're conditioned to be that way. We don't talk about castes as do other countries but we sure know to keep certain classes at bay.
Why do we trust the FDA anymore?
A fellow sports mom (and friend)said to me- 'We are all just one sports injury away from having a child that's addicted' and it really stuck with me. Sadly, her son had a bad hip injury, ended up addicted for years. It could have happened to any of us.

Want to help your community? I'll tell you how. Insist on creating and maintaining a safe supply. Carry naloxone. Support safe consumption spaces. Support syringe exchanges. Stop judging drug use as a moral failing. Support expanded MAT access.

It's a crisis because non-medical use of opioids has been made illegal and left to the unregulated black market to supply. We must legalize all molecules and end the evil War On Some Drugs.
