Once again NPR expertly avoids the obvious: over 100 million Americans have had COVID-19 and recovered with acquired immunity, shown to be more robust and durable than vaccine generated immunity. This is the major reason for vaccine hesitancy.

Good. We need to protect the public health and the common good from a lethal virus that causes a painful death separated from family and loved ones. If some continue to resist vaccination, they should not be working in any public place.
