I suspect they’ll be happier with compensation and then an investigation.
War is terrible. And I doubt any of the German civilians who were lost while we defeated the Axis of Evil received any direct compensation for it. Aside from their liberation from Hitler.

Complex situation. Trying to protect Americans & Afghans after a horrific ISIS bombing. US ops erred in a near impossible split second decision that they believed could have cost many dozens of lives. All that in a chaotic fast changing environment. I feel for all involved.

When I was in Afghanistan we were forced to burn cannabis fields. We'd pay them a little for the damages, but probably not nearly what it was worth. We were sending a message of what big pharma wanted: poppy. Fuck the USA and what they used me for. Can't wait till she collapses
Milley should retire. When initially challenged on this, he referred to it as a righteous strike, which is terrible language in any military event. It took far too long to tell the truth.

I, too, would like to see some accountability for these war creeps who get off on facilitating tragedies like this
