Shocked, yes shocked I tell you. Red states have all the freedom to do as they wish, till they die. Blue states take precautions and don't die. No wonder the GOFP is trying to decrease voting rights in Blue states.

That’s a no brainer, except for people that think Covid19 is a hoax.

You mean science is right again as always and religious idiots are wrong as always

Please tell Abbott.

LeslieMarshall GovAbbott

It's kind of what's happening in our country GOP the ones economy or this lead people to achieve it they don't pay the price you do

What does Charlie Baker down in Boston not understand ?

Well, gaaaaahhhh-leee! Who’d a thunk it? 😂

Correlation is not causation.

Unfortunately too many Republicans cannot read or comprehend these facts !

Wow. It’s almost like there is a correlation between the two!

We're almost through this and now they start easing mask mandates? We're going to see another spike and more deaths, and if we're really lucky, no new mutations they make the vaccines useless.

It just proves we are not the United States. We are separate rules states.

KVPR What recent study? States that did not have a mask mandate have lower cases of COVID-19 than CA. Hmmm. For those that want to stay home, stay home! I’ve got bills to pay.

As restrictions are lifted, it will worsen again. There are those who won't chose to do TheRightThing until we somehow get this virus under control. In some countries wearing masks in public is just how they roll and it makes sense. Masks protect US from all air-borne diseases!

Shocking. So the medical experts were right? Wow, amazing.

Correlation does not prove causation

No shit huh?

GregAbbott_TX who would have thought ?

Pushing that mask propaganda. Go double mask if you’re concerned.

A study showed this? Did they just figure out how to read graphs?

NO SHIT....

Not true. Here is what CDC found.

Which is why I won't be eating inside a restaurant any time soon.

CDC propaganda. The 'study' wasn't anything of the kind. I suppose it's enough to fool their worshipers.

Unfortunately, if you follow the Science, this is the expected result. Many Americans have no patience and we all will suffer as a result.

IF WE'RE STILL HAVING TO CONVINCE STATES THAT MASK MANDATES ARE THE WAY YOU STAY OPEN AND KEEP PEOPLE FROM STARVING THERE'S NO HOPE FOR YOU

When Covid restrictions are lifted they often come in phases where all sorts of business are able to reopen. How can researchers say with certainty that restaurants were the source of new Covid cases and not bowling alleys or hair salons?

BreakingNews - duh

1. Atlanta just had NBA Allstar weekend. 2. We are last on the list for having the covid vaccine (both of them). 3. I've lost 2 loving family members since May 2020 and my roommate buries her dad on Saturday.

GovAbbott tatereeves GovRonDeSantis Can you guys read?

BEWARE...MANDATES THAT LIFT MASK RESTRICTIONS MAY BE DEADLY!

I'm all for mask wearing (hell, yeah), but this study doesn't prove restaurants were the source of new Covid cases unless the researchers were able to trace the new cases back to restaurants.

AZ Gov dougducey never mandated masks and what restrictions were enacted on biz was NEVER enforced. That's why AZ was the leader in covid cases per capita in the US. States opening up is the worst possible decision ever until a majority is vaccinated.

Only if Gregular abbott could read and wasn't part of the GOPDeathCult where NoLivesMatter in the great state of Texas.

The CDC study actually says it was “insignificant”. If your going to report on it, say the whole thing

More deaths coming to Arkansas thanks to AsaHutchinson

Something I’m still 100 unwilling to do: eat inside a restaurant. I’ll eat outside if it’s sparsely populated or order takeout or cook—not that I’ve mastered spatchcocking :)

Uhhhh I’ve been distant from visibly sick people, so as to not touch them or breathe else’s air or touch dirty surfaces. Also been rockin a gaiter that’s 3mm thick for a year! Do I need a shot? I don’t think so

More fuzzy numbers and fuzzy science and fuzzy conclusions. The Media makes money from their scare tactics.

Makes sense. In my county where there is gated and rural communities , numbers are always much lower than in high population areas.

Study proving the patently obvious ...

Wow that’s crazy thank you npr

This is so incredibly obvious yet arrogance and ignorance prevail. This is the same as 2nd hand smoke or drink driving, it ain’t about you it’s about the effect you have on others .

Wow! You mean the common sense 'use a mask, lower your risk' thing is true? Golly!

…which is exactly why my family isn’t doing sit-down restaurant dining any time soon — takeout still works great for us ✌️😷

If Covid-19 smelled like fried chicken would you still say masks work?

'Study confirms common sense.' (And those who don't think it's common sense won't change their minds because science says so.)

Who'd a thunk?!! This is so obvious. And this study will change NOBODY'S opinion on the matter.

Apparently our Texas governor did not get the memo.

Stating the obvious is too complicated for Republicans to comprehend.

We needed a study for that?

Where are the congressional hearings on the COVID19 response? CNN

CDC disagreed with this story.

Huh? Go Figure?
