Mandatory Storage laws & National Red Flag Laws save lives. Responsible gun owners should not have a problem. Only criminals will.

Mandatory Storage laws next & National Red Flag Laws will save lives. Responsible gun owners should not have a problem. Only criminals will.

This does do make guns less accessible to those who abuse them.

Lmao thats not gonna do anything. In MD you need a class for handguns and to register a handgun. people still get murdered and gangbangers still get caught with handguns all the time. Armed robberies are up 40 percent too. What a joke.

Need lots of gun laws. Do without large clips. If you can’t get your prey with a couple of shots you don’t need a firearm. Do not need automatic weapons. Don’t need tons of ammo or guns.

The issue here is that universal background checks wouldn’t begin to scratch the surface of the problem when it comes to the root causes of violent crime in America.

The right to own a gun is not the right to kill. But the law enforcement industry still has not figured this out.

i need a license and insurance to drive my car...........why should guns be any different?

guns are ok, its a fun hobby but i just dont get how people worship these things like Jesus. Jerk over them like its a beautiful woman and defend them like their children. fuckin weird if you ask me.....

Too bad the NRA won't do its job to promote responsible gun ownership and gun safety. It's only about gun sales.

People who know nothing about guns have no say in what should and should not be illegal.

I'm against 2a because it's racist. The 'well regulated militia' groups were death squads: the 'Indian fighters' who burned crops and murdered women and children, the paddy rollers who hunted escaped slaves and re-enslaved free blacks, and the KKK and modern domestic terrorists.

Anyone who claims criminals are too smart to buy guns through legal channels only has to look at the video posted by the insurrectionists of their own crimes, to realize the truth. I'm much more worried about stupid criminals getting guns, than I am about the smart ones.

I love how all the people who hate guns, have never owned guns, who have no knowledge of the processes to buy guns always associate the actions of criminals who obtain guns illegally to stricter gun control on law abiding citizens who are already following the law. Morons

RepHagedorn Note: bipartisan House support for background checks! Please join in supporting them.

These Bills do a lot more than background checks. Look into HR 127. It’s Class warfare and will make it next to impossible for low income Americans to defend themselves with firearms.

Won't do much of what it's supposed to do

We need a registry. Gun owners should have to carry insurance with increasing policy cost per number of weapons owned. We need to pass Red Flag laws. We have a lot of work to do about the gun violence and gun fetishism in this country.

California already does this.

Laughing, in my part of the woods, you can buy or sell a gun on local radio stations during the segments offered to the public looking to buy or sell items.

You’ve never bought a gun and it shows

It's funny, but if you look at the number of school shootings over the decades you'll notice a huge increase starting in the late 60s, early 70s. I'm sure it had nothing to do with the 1968 law that dramatically reduced gun restrictions.

Good! Hopefully (someday) we can ban semi-automatic weapons. If you can't deal with being 'downgraded' to a bolt-action, lever-action, or revolver, you shouldn't be using a gun.

Good. Let's do National Red Flag Laws and Mandatory Storage laws next.

in MA gun permits are obtained at the local police dept. One glance at Roof, Holmes, Cruz, Seung-Hui Cho, would have revealed serious mental health issues!

Excellent! As they should! As we should! Long, long overdue! Let's do this!!

Isn't this already the law?
