That is stupid.. it is against CDCgov regulations. they can't penalizing schools for their globalepidemic CAgovernor

Sad state of affairs here. So it goes in our backwards country. The 21st century seems farther out of our grasp every day

We are in the middle of a pandemic hello? YOU CAN GET YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE

This pandemic has been a gravy train for government employee unions. Cut pay. Everyone should share the pain equally.

Where is the “push” to get teachers vaccinated?

Um, hello. Arizona schools have been losing money for virtual students most of the school year. I believe it's a loss of 5% if the district chooses to offer only virtual for any period of time. AZ is truly bottom of the barrel in education.

So the poorest schools and most in need of funds will have to decide whether to receive funds or put their kids at risk! WoW how else is this country going to f up it’s poor next?

Why, when schools need more support during this protracted pandemic.

I’m sure this won’t hurt already underserved and underfunded schools and communities at all! America never ceases to punish the most in need

Money over people. That's what it's always been. Money is a drug and too many people are horribly addicted to it. I don't even know who humanity is anymore.

It’s🗣a🗣pandemic🗣

Nobody wants to admit that hanging out with kids sucks

Or you could say that the schools who are open will get a bonus- not penalize the closed ones. It is all a matter of how you look at it.

Jesus fucking Christ just wait until everyone can get a vaccine, it’s not much longer

End gov schools.

Penalties should have been placed for not wearing masks early on in the pandemic.Once again, no maskers, hoaxers, & “I have the right to endanger others” determine for the rest of us. Now schools are under the gun to open at all cost. Now $. Now, science matters. Variants anyone?

They should go back to classrooms and be heroes. Just like supermarket cashiers.

Money to risk covid?

Maybe just dismantle the public school system and give an educational credit for home/private schooling and be done with this sht. Teacher's Unions have become a blight on today's society

About time! Defund schools that won't open.

My county can’t even vaccinate teachers yet. Facilities are so run down already. Outside classes in tents with no electrical power is so not practical

It seems dumb to force people back in a state that has done such a terrible job of containing the virus. Especially given that they have their own variant.

fuck that

The schools and districts that will have the biggest issues with this are the ones that are already underfunded. So this feels like elitist fuckery. All the money this country has and we can't give kids safe educations.

Vaccinate the teachers and staff

This is fucking disgusting

Soooo... Bribery?
