How do these people live with themselves?
Ravnsborg killed a man with his car, lied about it by claiming that he thought he struck a deer. The victim's eyeglasses were found inside Ravnsborg's car. He faces only misdemeanor charges and won't even resign as South Dakota's attorney general. Privileged much?
The Enablers are Guilty as well
The worst that can happen to this guy is to be forced to resign - after covering up a fatal hit and run! The rich and powerful can get away with anything in this system, while the majority of people continue to be in denial.
The cover up is always worse than the initial crime.
I know I might be as ugly as a deer, but I would have to be blind to not know the difference between a deer and man's head in my windshield. Maybe Ravnsborg was drug, high, or driving legally blind.

Was he driving a rental car? Who needs to look at anything to turn their cruise control on in their own car? And if he admits he hit the guy while he was “putting his phone down,” isn’t that admitting to a pretty serious crime?
Would be curious to see if he even called his insurance co. - which is what most people do when there is damage to their vehicle ‘from striking a deer.’ His story wreaks!!
