The picture is clearer by the hour indeed. It seems congress was left for slaughter in an organized fashion, which would have given a reason to declare martial law and cancel the transfer of power. Thereby declaring autocracy by default. This is chilling.

I agree he is ultra conservative but still appreciate his words. Words matter, actions matter, influence matters. Whether I agree or disagree on policy choices matters less when division and polarization is at this level. His words matter.
