'The filibuster has been used as a weapon to just have the Senate do nothing,' Harry Reid told NPR. He says it's stalling action on issues like climate change and gun laws –– and should be ended entirely.

He would know.

Because that worked out so well for you the last time...didn't it?

Have none of you people ever read the 2nd amendment, or the bill of rights ,or for that matter the constitution! ! That includes you Mr Reid.

Thank you Harry Reid for going nuclear!!!?😆😆😆👏👏👏

Agreed.

It’s worked in Dems favor too. Dems and Repubs always denounce processes when it’s convenient for them.

It’s a two-edged sword. Bob Byrd used filibusters with extraordinary eloquence and efficacy. Lest we forget.

Democrats have used it many times. They will change stance when convenient.

Says the guy who used it and created the nuclear option. These were his very policies. What a clown. And you are complicit in spreading this nonsense FakeNewsMedia

Meet Walmart's Gun Reform Team.

I blame Harry for the whole Judicial vote to majority ipo sixty. It started a very bad trend.

Yep, get rid of it. The Republicans have f'ed that up & it's no longer the uncommon way to draw attention to leglistlation. It's used purely now on a routine basis to stop any progress at all. Dump it. It's way past time.

People voted Republican because they don't want to be taxed by your one world (climate) government and they want to keep their constitutional rights. Why is the left constantly trying to ban freedom.

He's entirely right. And he should have done it himself when he had the goddamn chance. The filibuster is 100% indefensible. But then so is the Senate itself.

He's not wrong.

NPR Choice pageState sponsored broadcaster uses tax money to act as a megaphone for the democrat party's agenda. Extremely cool. If the NRA goes bankrupt, there's a museum in Fairfax, Va., that could use a makeover. NPR is just relentless with the leftist narratives. Time to defund.
