The killing of Breonna Taylor energized a nationwide movement to restrict 'no-knock' police raids. Now, advocates are pushing to tighten state and local rules — including for other kinds of forced-entry search warrants.

What's next, should the police knock and quietly ask if they can come to the door . No Knock warrents are for a reason.

How about NPR tell people NOT TO SHOOT COPS that can lead to bad consequences

COVID won't destroy American cities, but crime will, and the left is working overtime to give criminals as much leeway as possible.

There should be a very high bar for “no knock” warrants, this tragic case is no where close to justification, your house is your castle 👊🇺🇸

A lot of the biggest and worst criminals only get caught by the element of surprise in the early morning. It’s worth a discussion but very seldom has anyone been raided who wasn’t involved with the criminal. Including Taylor who let the guy use her for a mailing address

What is not being reported is the drug raid on Breonna Taylor's apartment was NOT a 'no knock' police raid.

Knock raids are very dangerous. It gives the criminals inside time to get their weapons and assume a strategic position inside the house, which is exactly what happened in the Taylor case. Had the police not knocked, Breonna would be alive today.

Maybe people should learn not to date drug dealers?

Unfortunately another article based on inaccurate information. When this story was originally reported it was very troubling. Now the facts are known and the police were at the correct address and they did knock and announce their presence. Loud enough neighbors acknowledged it

this misinformation and curated narratives of NPR and other divisive news agencies have killed more people than ‘no-knock’ police raids by a large margin.

thank you for saying killing instead of murder and pointing out that the problem in this situation is with no knock warrants, not racist cops trying to murder random people. the return to sanity is refreshing.

NPR you are instigators

Good! The Fourth Amendment is on freakin’ life support here.

The Blood of JESUS is the Ultimate Sacrifice that can Save Mankind. 예수님의 보혈은 인간을 구원할 수 있는 궁극적인 희생제사입니다. MegaWordVigil

NPR is Trash.

The officers didn’t have to knock and they did. BT didn’t have to resist by shooting through the door, but she did. This is a tragedy not an example for LEO policy failures, it’s an example of why we shouldn’t lift up criminality as heroic
