The looming battle over President Donald Trump’s upcoming Supreme Court nominee to replace the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is already turning into an ugly partisan brawl, with Senate Democrats warning they’ll retaliate if they win control of the chamber and White House on Nov. 3.
Schumer also urged the caucus to emphasize the effect filling the vacancy would have on health care, civil rights and other issues. Other Democrats suggested the party should move to pack the Supreme Court with additional justices in order to dilute the power of the conservative majority. Sen. Ed Markey on Friday that if McConnell moves to fill Ginsburg’s seat this year and Democrats win control of the Senate and the White House, “we must abolish the filibuster and expand the Supreme Court.”
So, if nothing is off the table, does that mean anything they do is OK? Because I'm seeing the serious potential for escalation. What happens when they push things to the point of no return? Will they be cool with assassinations every 4 years? Because that's where we're headed.

The most obvious issue is that trump has made clear he will probably contest an election that doesn’t go in his favor, and who decides the winner then? not the people.
The issue I take here is if the claim is “this is the will of the people” (forgetting trump lost the popular vote), wouldn’t it be logical to wait a few weeks and see what the people actually want? If trump/gop senate wins, you have your answer. if not, you are wrong here.
