) was launching a line of non-dairy ice creams, I was moved. With all of my favorite vegan ice cream shops closed for the time being, I've been pining for some pints and soft-serve that I can get on-demand, and folks, this speaks directly to me. Exciting news for me, and hopefully for you, too: The new line dropped today ahead of summer and everything's ready to ship out to your doorstep., organic ingredients with creative flavor combinations, and the Scoops line is no exception.

I had the privilege of previewing Daily Harvest's new non-dairy ice cream line ahead of the launch and can tell you some preliminary thoughts. My take? The mint with chunked chocolate chips is a classic palate-cleanser, and as an added bonus, it's enhanced with spirulina. And though I don't normally take to chocolate , Daily Harvest's fudge-y option was rich and decadent with a little sea salt kick. The avocado in it is also delicious and unexpected.

The strawberry flavor with berry compote is super refreshing on a warm day . It also has some chunks of strawberry and dragonfruit in it, which is divine. If I had to pick favorites, though, my preference is the vanilla with salted, swirled sesame—it has a nice crunch to it thanks to the bits of black sesame and is the mildest and most savory out of all the options.

You can buy everything starting at $9 a pint, or set yourself up with a subscription to make sure that the ice cream keeps coming all summer long. To celebrate the new launch, Daily Harvest has even teamed up with the smoothest guys around, Boyz II Men, who have dropped a new song in tribute.
