That is not even correlation. The real impact can only be measured when normalized by the number of tests done. Also you must do calculations with respect to hysteresis, because obviously after 1 day such spread will not reflect in the case numbers. That is just completely wrong.

NC almost doubled the number of tests per day this week vs the number they had last week. That is why they had more positives. This story is phony, it is sensationalism, and it is needless. NC got more positives from testing more!!!

But the real number that would measure change or concern is “hospitalizations”. The rise in the number of cases is only a measure of testing.
