Spirit Airlines Inc told regulators it lost “millions of dollars in pet carriage fees from passengers fraudulently claiming their ‘house pets are service or support animals.’”
The administration’s proposal would consider “a psychiatric service animal” like any other service animal and require the same training and treatment as others.

Thank god the airlines are going to set limits on comfort critters.
Sucks some abused it & ruined it for folks that might be allergic&need alternative pet or those w/ conditions that respond well to embracing from snake. Some told get a therapy pet wanted to be original & f*cked it up, or paid their doc to lie so they can have exotics on a plane

Yeah, I think the whole 'emotional support' or 'service' animal thing jumped the shark (pun intended) when they ok'd people to use miniature horses as their support animals during travel.
...and sane people who don't bring frickin' chickens or snakes on planes.

I like it ! I don’t want to sit next to someone with a beehive as service animal Some of us travel with our fur babies, because they are part of our family. I understand that they may have to limit pets per passenger, and I understand that bigger pets may also make others uncomfortable. But maybe place much larger pets with luggage. Don't take that from us
