Countless times throughout history we have seen movements for social justice result in positive changes in a matter of days. I believe Nigeria's president is choosing to let injustice persist and any intervention he might take to stop it isn’t constrained by time, but by his own corruption. I question how this is not enough for the leaders of the country. When the next generation of Nigerians are pleading for a country free from police brutality, why are their cries of injustice and pain not sufficient enough to reassess and radically change the systems of power? Like Mbachu Stephanie, a young woman at the protest, said to Hip TV,She pointed out what all those on the ground know: President Buhari is a coward.
