Once again, Henry is leading the NFL in rushing with 1,257 yards and is averaging 114.3 rushing yards per game. His performance against Indianapolis was his eighth straight regular-season road game with 100 or more rushing yards, dating back to 2019. Not coincidentally, the Titans are 7-1 in those games.
The fifth-year back has seven 100-yard games this season and is No. 1 in rushing yards above expectation, according to NFL Next Gen Stats. Henry is looking for his second straight rushing title, and if history is any indication of what lies ahead, the bruising back will only get stronger as the season wears on. Henry rushed for 500-plus yards in December of the 2018 and 2019 seasons, making him the first player to do that since LaDainian Tomlinson in 2006 and 2007.
It belongs to mahome
It’s not fair Derrick Henry is that low. You really think best players in the NFL are all QB’s? There should be some other criteria other than directly offering MVP to players who throw the ball and collect yardage/TD’s. I would say it’s disrespect to the other positions
I'm a Chiefs fan, but Aaron Rodgers would be my pick for MVP at this point considering how little he has in the way of weapons compared to Mahomes. Both playing lights out, but damn...Rodgers is still that dude at 37. Mahomes is definitely deserving if he wins it, though.
Umm my boy KingHenry_2 🙄
It's over said the king of dunks NFL KansasCity Chiefs
Love seeing all the 'Ya but my team sucks and their team is really good so what about my QB' like it's an insult. Get a better team then Chiefs go through the same process as the other 31 teams
