Overnight, the NFL announced that team facilities will be closed Monday and Tuesday with exception for teams with games on those days. The league has seen some outbreaks of coronavirus cases over the past few days. MeaganNBC has the latest developments.

As the United States continues to face a surge in coronavirus cases, the NFL is getting hit by COVID-19 again. In response to the increased positivity rate, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell says all team activities on Monday and Tuesday have been prohibited, but that does not apply to clubs participating in games on those days. NBC’s Meagan Fitzgerald reports for Weekend TODAY.
