New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern was undaunted by an earthquake that struck the capital Wellington on Monday while she was doing a live TV interview, and calmly continued with the programme.

Wellington and nearby areas were shaken by a 5.8 magnitude earthquake with the epicentre 30 km northwest of Levin, a city close to the capital, and at a depth of 37 km, according to Geonet.

reuters people in offices and homes getting under their tables for cover is not panic but injury prevention. At least seperate them by splitting it into two sentences.

This lady is something else. I didn't take much notice of her virus achievements, but when I heard she persuaded her politicians to forego their pay rise, I was flabbergasted. It showed her heart's in the right place too. This incident caps it off. I salute you Ms Ardern.
