The New York Times has demoted Jonathan Weisman, formerly a deputy Washington editor, after he made not one but several weird and racist tweets, then proceeded to harass writer Roxane Gay via email after she called him out. Weisman is also no longer allowed to tweet, which is assuredly for the best.

media reporter Marc Tracy. Weisman also told Tracy, “I accept Dean’s judgment. I think he’s right to do what he’s doing. I embarrassed the newspaper, and he had to act.”out a wild thread suggesting that people of color from cities don’t represent the areas they’re from.

“Saying @RashidaTlaib and @IlhanMN are from the Midwest is like saying @RepLloydDoggett is from Texas or @repjohnlewis is from the Deep South,” he wrote. Folks were pretty quick to point out that claiming only rural white people can be “real” Deep Southerners or Midwesterners is a dangerous and racist misconception, one that fuels the rampant white supremacism that’s been gaining mainstream traction in the Trump era, and Weisman deleted the tweets.

Plus broken cameras, guard shortage, cellmate transferred, no suicide watch. Sorry, sounds more likely than not LMFAO

New York Attorney General Vows To Sue Trump Administration Over New Immigration Rule“Under this rule, children will go hungry; families will go without medical care," Letitia James said of the new "public charge" policy. Good luck. The President is just enforcing our laws. Something these criminal mixed Democrats have an issue with. You might want to mix in some sort of legal action vs the shoddy prisoner protection facilities you have there. Off suicide watch? Really? Sue away. You lose!

Federal New York lockup draws new scrutiny in Epstein deathApparent suicide of Jeffrey Epstein brings new scrutiny to federal jail in New York that, despite chronic understaffing, houses some of the highest-security inmates in the country. Don't suicide cells have cameras? 🤔 Sounds like it was “planned” to be that way. I wonder who was responsible, and where the order came from? The White House? If this actually happened and Epstein wasn’t escorted out of the country never to be heard from again, check the financial records of the prison employees. Follow the $.
