The city is to require people using indoor businesses to have had Covid vaccinations.

New York City is to require customers and staff of restaurants, gyms and other indoor businesses to have had Covid-19 vaccinations.

But some areas, which are largely poor communities, and communities of colour, have lower vaccination rates. The policy, which is similar to measures taken in France to try to help slow down the spread of coronavirus, will be enforced from 13 September. As part of the initiative, the city is creating the "Key to NYC Pass" to provide proof of vaccination to workers and patrons at gyms, restaurants and entertainment venues, the mayor said.

Other big US cities have reinstated mask mandates indoors but Mr de Blasio has been reluctant to do so.

But can shaming actually convince folks to finally take the shot? Especially when it’s communities of color? Of course it never went away, viruses don’t go away. You can run from this, no one can. Then seeing my neighbor almost die. It convinced me. vaccinated GetVaccinatedNow It’s like the flu, and it took decades and many variants and yet still not everyone wants the vaccines. Biden to announce new eviction ban due to COVID spreadWASHINGTON (AP) — The Biden administration will announce a new 60-day eviction moratorium that would protect areas where 90% of the U.S. population lives, according to three people familiar with the plans who insisted on anonymity to discuss the forthcoming announcement. What business is being shut down right now due to new cases? Since the CDC and Biden now the States are going to interfere in private contracts wouldn't they now become the defacto signatory on any lease and be liable legally for any monies owed in court? Thats not good enough especially since the Democrats betrayed us for money
