Through Sunday, New York City had recorded nearly 14,800 deaths confirmed by a lab test and another nearly 5,200 probable deaths where no test was available but doctors are sure enough to list the virus on the death certificate. In its analysis, the report released Monday said the 5,293 excess deaths were on top of both confirmed and probable fatalities.

New York City Medical Examiner Doing Limited Coronavirus Testing on DeadNew York City’s Office of Chief Medical Examiner isn’t performing widespread postmortem Covid-19 tests on people who have died at home during the new coronavirus outbreak because of a shortage in testing supplies. This has gotten stupid. If someone is run over by a bus and killed, and later testing shows the person has corona virus, the cause of death is corona virus. As I said, this is getting stupid. As has the WSJ Are they testing for people who died WITH the virus or testing for people who died OF the virus? They never were and yet they're are still counted. Where do you think a third of our inflated numbers come from?
