New York City Movie Theaters to Reopen at 25 Percent Capacity
Theaters in New York City will be allowed to reopen at 25 percent capacity, with no more than 50 people. Masks, assigned seating and advanced air filtration will be required.
New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced the decision during a press event on Monday. Movie theaters outside of New York City have been allowed to be open since October 2020, with similar restrictions in place. Read more: Hollywood Reporter »
