As New York City experiences a power outage affecting more than 40,000 people, Mayor Bill de Blasio said he's not yet decided whether to return from Iowa, where he is campaigning for president.
The New York Fire Department said a manhole fire caused the outage that left subways cars stalled and elevators stuck.
He has a history of being gone when important things are happening in NYC.
We did this in Chicago a few years back when a mayor ignored a snow crisis and he was booted out of office the next election.
BilldeBlasio is never there when his city needs him. Hopefully the next Mayor is more competent than the current one.
