Both the Hinsdale-Clarendon Hills Elementary District 181 Board and the organization representing the district’s 360 teachers are pleased with a new four-year contract for teachers. The Board voted Monday Oct. 20 to approve the deal, which is retroactive to July 1 and runs through June 30, 2027. The contract calls for salary increases of 4% for 2023-24 and 3.76% for 2024-25.
” Hoffman said teachers were looking for a competitive compensation package that reflects the current environment _ salary, insurance, and retirement. “This contract reflects a competitive package that rewards teachers for their service to D181 while allowing the district to attract and retain high-caliber educators,” she said. “In turn, all D181 staff continue to provide the best possible educational opportunities and experiences for our students.
