I understand why the Russo Bros. accepted a $200m check from Netflix (ditto Michael Bay for 6 Underground, R. Thurber for Red Notice) but I can't understand why Netflix keeps handing out these checks. I can't imagine these fairly generic big budget spectacles bring in new subs?
