The change is essentially mirrored up north, where standard plans were hiked from 15.99 Canadian to 16.49. If this all sounds familiar, it's because this is more or less what Netflix does every few years.

Again?! I canceled last time they hiked prices for their mediocre offerings.

Well if they are going to raise their prices it’s only fair that I raise my expectations.

And yet they are cracking down on password sharing. There's plenty of competition out there now and Netflix think they don't have any threats. Unless they are releasing 50 good series this year. And at least 50% must be good

Mostly bad original content and some gems. I always seem to have a hard time finding something to watch lately and with this price increase might make me rethink it's time to cancel.
