Netflix Employees Plan Walkout Amid Chappelle Controversy

Netflix employees will walk out of the company’s Los Angeles office Wednesday morning to protest the decision to release a Dave Chappelle comedy special,The Netflix logo sign is seen on top of it's office building on February 4, 2021 in Hollywood,A Netflix employee group called Trans* plans to rally outside of the office and present Netflix co-Chief Executive Ted Sarandos with a list of demands.

1) It’s just a walkout. They’re not quitting. So it’s just performance theatre. 2) Netflix is the people who made the show Sense8. Possibly the most trans inclusionary show I’ve ever seen. 3) Their actions confirm the brittleness of their spirit.

They’re not walking out just over the Dave Chappelle controversy, I’m sure this goes much deeper. They’ve probably had many more issues being employed there & this is just the final straw. Unless they’re complete irrational people that is.

I really enjoyed Dave's last special. I didn't hear anything offensive. It was primarily a bunch of life stories. He was more offensive toward white people, IMHO.
