The United Nations released sobering statistics which said nearly 6,000 Afghan civilians were killed or wounded in the first nine months of 2020 as heavy fighting continues to rage on despite efforts to find peace

From January to September, there were 5,939 civilian casualties in the fighting - 2,117 people killed and 3,822 wounded, the U.N. Assistance Mission in Afghanistan said in a report.

Civilian casualties were 30% lower than in the same period last year but UNAMA said violence has failed to slow since the beginning of talks between government negotiators and the Taliban that began in the Qatari capital of Doha last month. Most of the remainder came in crossfire, or were caused by Islamic State militants or “undetermined” anti-government or pro-government elements, it said.

Nearly half a million Americans tested positive for Covid-19 In just the last weekIn just one week, the fall surge in Covid-19 infections added nearly half a million cases to the national total. 130M worldwide could die of starvation due to mandates/lockdowns. 1.4M will die from tuberculosis who couldn’t get proper treatment. 42k from cardio conditions. 75k more alcohol and drug related deaths than usual. It goes on and on. Stop the madness. Of course they are. Schools weren’t closed, indoor dining is happening nationwide, people aren’t being held accountable for following simple laws. Maybe after a million Americans dead people will start to understand.
