There are not enough schools participating because of coronavirus cancellations and season postponements.

"If we modify the model – which we have to do anyway because of the virus – shrink the bracket sizes, use predetermined sites and use bubbles or semi-bubble models ... there's a way to do it. Will it be normal? No. Is it doable? Yes. We want to make it work for these students," Emmert says.

The NCAA chose not to regulate football this way and it's been a fractured and piecemeal decision-making process over the past two weeks. College football is a multi-billion dollar business. Many smaller football conferences chose to . Even several of the marquee conferences, the Big Ten and Pac-12, decided to postpone playing football. But three other 'Power 5' conferences have decided to try to give it a go.

NCAA does not sanction a championship for FBS schools

All this whining about stupid sports! People are sick, people are dying, people are losing their jobs, people are being evicted, people can’t afford food, people can’t afford their meds, can’t afford childcare...

Football?

The NCAA did NOT want the “student” athletes to form a more perfect union. A College Players Association. These deferred millionaires don’t want to be your slave labor during a pandemic.

The NCAA is governed by the descendants of foreign slave capitalists who are obsessed with profiting from the labor of the indigenous its forefathers declassified as African-Americans. Apartheid is barely noticeable when you have sports as a distraction. NCAA is illegitimate.

NCAA Reminds Boosters That Full Bribes Still Due Even If Football Season CanceledINDIANAPOLIS, IN—Responding to a wave of canceled checks after news broke of a potential shutdown, NCAA officials reminded boosters Wednesday that full bribes were still due to their respective teams even if the Division I FBS season was canceled. “It’s unfortunate that we may not get to play football this year, but you still have a responsibility to grease our palms,” said NCAA president Mark Emmert, reaching out to boosters to clarify that even without a season, the need for a new field house and the mortgage payments on his vacation home do not go away. “Your schools need you more than ever with the financial shortfall of a canceled season. Nobody is happy about this outcome, but you need to honor the off-the-books promises you made to your alma mater. We’re extending the deadline to pay, but don’t even think about asking for a discount.” At press time, NCAA officials revealed that despite retaining 100% of their bribe revenue, teams would no longer be making normal cash handoffs to high school recruits.
