NBA All-Star Game 2022 countdown: Everything you need to know with 33 days to go

The 2022 NBA All-Star Game will take place in Cleveland in February.CLEVELAND, Ohio — The NBA All-Star Game is coming to Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse on Feb. 20.

Here is a look at what you need to know as we begin the countdown All-Star Weekend, which starts Friday, Feb. 18 and runs through the All-Star Game on Sunday, Feb. 20:For the first time in 25 years, the city of Cleveland will host NBA All-Star weekend. The weekend consists of many more events than just the All-Star Game. Some will be held at the Wolstein Center, while the big events will be at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.followed by the Clorox Rising Stars challenge at 9 p.m.

The head coaches will be determined by who has the best record in each conference through the Sunday two weeks before the game, which this year is Feb. 6. The only coaches who won’t be eligible are Doc Rivers of the 76ers and Quin Snyder of the Jazz because they coached in last year’s game. At the moment, five teams in the Eastern Conference have 27 wins. The Suns have 34 wins to lead the West, meaning as it stands today Monty Williams would coach one of the teams.The All-Star Game voting closes on Friday night at midnight. Fans will be able to vote until then either on Twitter, onVotes will be counted twice on Thursday, Jan. 20, which will be the last time in this voting cycle it will happen.

So their best chance to get at least one representative will come from the head coach votes.
