That's more than double the number of communities with uncontrolled spread the Nation had identified in November. At the time, Navajo leaders said the spread was"largely due to travel off the Navajo Nation and family gatherings."The Navajo Nation faces a battle to protect its elders and traditions as Covid-19 deaths spikeNow, they expressed concern about Covid-19 variants circulating in the US.
