Trump spent his two days in London lashing out at allies and creating new rifts, but host Boris Johnson avoided the worst of the flak by limiting his interaction with the president.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson will be breathing a sigh of relief this week despite a fractious visit from President Donald Trump and his fellow NATO leaders.

But while he stuck to script on British politics, Trump's bellicose instincts were on full display elsewhere as he piled into new spats with American allies, even while NATO General SecretaryBut for Johnson and his Conservatives at least, things could have been a whole lot worse.

Trump has already promised that the U.K. would be at the front of the queue for a wide-ranging free trade deal, but many Britons fear this would force them to accept more deregulation, lower food hygiene standards and looser environmental controls. Both Johnson and Trump have dismissed Corbyn's assertions. On Tuesday, Trump said he wants"nothing to do" with the NHS, and suggested the U.S. would still not be interested even if it was handed to him on a"silver platter."

There was no open bilateral meeting and both gave relatively brief responses to questions on their relationship—a far cry from the effusive praise Trump has lavished on hisWitney said Trump is"certainly" considered toxic abroad, both by fellow leaders and their constitutions."It's no wonder the idea was to minimize contact," he said of Johnson's approach.

"Everything that he does—whether it's international, domestic" is governed by how news will play domestically, Witney argued of Trump."The only thing that matters to Trump at the moment is getting reelected and avoiding impeachment."Still, Trump did not mince words during his visit, even if he held off wading into the British political mire.

At one point, Trudeau told fellow leaders he saw Trump's aides'"jaws drop to the floor" while the president was speaking.

None of them were greeted. Trudeau

Wow, he really out did the orange, didn't he?

Both toxic

trump chose to be a bully. He's so arrogant, so egotistical, so......childish and power crazed that he actually believes TRUE world leaders should bow down to and worship him like he's some great dictator. He's NOT worthy and they ALL showed him in this poignant picture:

Trump needs to fill out the proper paperwork 😋

Can’t be centred staged....we’re first on everything .....all of the time! Not going to work. No spirit of co-operation in that. Everyone loses. Even the US!!

Certainly. On the other hand, how much toxic is to be our President? Disgraceful.

Boris hurt Trump by laughing at Trudeau's story.

☹️🤔😂😂😂

The NHS is one of the UK's greatest achievements? Too toxic to be his friend? FakeNews 21% approve of Trump?, guess again!

Look at his skin color. He is too toxic to be homo sapien.

never deny your origins

They have a good working relationship and before the summit pundits said BJ & DT would have minimal public contact before the election. This would work to the advantages of both if it would help BJ win.

NATO countries should pay their fair share for defense. I don't understand why some Americans are actively cheering the demise of our President thus country.

So bunch of allies snub a country that offers them safety and security and he is the bad guy. You are supposed to keep emotions out of politics.

Three unidicted war criminals gossip about the 4th. The gossip becomes the centerpiece of MSM 'news,' while the war crimes are omitted.

Too bad Trump did not insinuate himself into photo-ops with Boris Johnson to help Johnson get voted out. Glad to read about protests against Trump in London and read that only a small minority have any approval for Trump at all. Wonder how Trump felt abt Boris’s public snubs?

is so anti American that you would write this story. Canceled my subscription. Your just too anti American for me.

That was my favorite part. Et tu, Boris?

CNN, fake news

Who would've thunk?

And that’s bad!!

Omg....no words here 😂

That’s how bad Trump is. Crazyass Boris Johnson doesn’t want to associate with Trump for fear of a negative light.
