Astronauts are able to vote from space thanks to a 1997 Texas law sponsored by a senator who was upset about an astronaut who missed the 1996 presidential election.

During the November 3 national elections, NASA astronaut Kate Rubin will be on the International Space Station . But even though she'll be 200 miles above the Earth, she plans on voting and she's encouraging Earth-bound Americans to do the same.

Even though Rubin won't be on the planet—she'll be floating around the ISS—she and other U.S. astronauts are still legally allowed to cast ballots from space thanks to a 1997 Texas law.

Many people I know may not vote come Nov the 3rd even though they have planed to do that. I am gonna vote whomever she voted 4!

Voting for Biden should be to write a letter to your boss recommending to fire you.

However you know that the Republicans are objecting to the astronauts and soldiers votes because they are not in person. Remember that every vote counts. Vote by mail, early, absentee, or in person just vote safely. Vote
